Fraserburgh Golf Club
Traditional Scottish Links Golf -Fraserburgh Golf Club - 7th Oldest Club in the World Est. 1777.
Take a brief drive from Aberdeen along the North East Aberdeenshire coast in Scotland and you will find a totally unspoiled, good old fashioned traditional links layout. If you are looking for a genuine slice of real Scottish golf history in an informal relaxed, welcoming setting at very reasonable green fee, this is it.
Be prepared for an invigorating ride around Fraserburgh’ s substantial sand dunes and an experience reminiscent of how golf must have been more than a century ago. Wildly undulating fairways, sand hills, wonderful views and some truly spectacular holes makes Fraserburgh a true links adventure from start to finish.
Today's feisty championship course, a James Braid (five times Open Championship winner) redesign of the original layout, is one of the most natural links courses you will ever find. Just be prepared for an exceptionally warm welcome and one of the most stimulating, affordable, rounds of your golf break in the Aberdeen golf links trail of Cruden Bay, Royal Aberdeen, the Trump International Golf Development and Murcar Links. Having been founded in 1777 Fraserburgh is the oldest golf club north of St Andrews!
