About Wild Braemar

Wild Braemar creates bespoke, private guided experiences in the heart of the Cairngorms National Park, helping visitors connect with Scotland's landscapes, wildlife and culture. Led by Annie Armstrong, an experienced naturalist, outdoor educator and wild swimming guide, experiences are tailored to all ages, abilities and interests. Guests can enjoy guided walks, wild swimming adventures, creative workshops and immersive nature-based activities, all designed to showcase the beauty of Braemar and the surrounding area. Experiences can be booked individually or combined into bespoke itineraries.

Swimming in cold, pure Scottish water will make your client’s trip one to remember. Your guide will take you to some of their favourite natural swimming pools for a truly invigorating experience. Locations will be chosen based on ability

Wild Wellness

A full-day guided experience, with a focus on wellness by connecting with nature. The tour includes a guided walk, either a gentle forest nature walk or a half day hike to a mountain top for the more adventurous, finishing off with a wilderness sauna and cold plunge experience. Lunch optional.

Forest Sketching

Duration: 2 hours

Guided nature walks exploring Scottish forests and glens with a creative twist. Taken at a slower pace than the Wild Walking Experience, you will stop to sketch the ancient trees and landscapes along the way.
