About Braemar Castle
Situated near the village of Braemar in Royal Deeside, this nearly 400-year-old castle invites your clients to experience its turbulent history—from its construction by the 2nd Earl of Mar in 1628, through its role in the Jacobite Uprisings, to the present day.
The castle offers both self-guided and guided tour options, suitable for both group and FIT clients.

Visiting Royal Deeside by car? Guests can make use of Braemar Castle’s car park for easy access to the village of Braemar. Enjoy a stroll around the castle grounds before sampling local Scottish food in the village’s delightful eateries, just a 15-minute walk away.
