About Grampian Transport Museum
Located in the village of Alford, just 45 minutes from Aberdeen, Grampian Transport Museum showcases an extensive range of transport exhibits—from travelling chariots of the 1800s to some of the fastest cars ever made.
The museum is suitable for FITs, groups, school groups, and special interest groups. Interactive exhibits include the unique opportunity to be driven in some vehicles on the museum’s purpose-built track.
Onsite Exhibitions
The museum refreshes around one-third of its exhibits each season. Examples include:
- ‘Made in Scotland’ – The history of Scottish-built vehicles
- ‘The Guy Martin Collection’ – The only UK display of Guy Martin’s collection
- ‘King’s Cars’ – Royal vehicles, including the first ever Royal car
- Extensive collection of motorcycles
- Steam engines
Please visit the museum website for the latest exhibition updates.
