About Grains Farm

Grains Farm is a family-run farm park and countryside visitor attraction, offering a welcoming and hands-on introduction to Scottish farm life in a relaxed rural setting. Located 20 miles south of Aberdeen, just outside the vibrant harbour town of Stonehaven and only 10 minutes from Dunnottar Castle, we are ideally positioned for countryside and coastal tours.

Farmer and owner, Holly Emslie, offers guests an immersive farm park experience, designed to safely meet the farm animals and learn about farming and food production in an accessible and family-friendly environment. Seasonal activities including pick-your-own flowers and pumpkins are available, demonstrating how the farm changes throughout the year.

Suitable for families, groups and FIT with refreshments available on-site. We look forward to sharing our farming story with your clients.

Group size (min/max): 6 - 30

Duration: 1.5 hours

Dates available: Tuesdays & Thursdays from April to October 10am or 2pm (please contact us if you'd prefer another start time)

Visitors will enjoy a guided tour of Grains Farm led by farmer & owner Holly Emslie, offering a personal and engaging introduction to the farm, its animals, and its crops.

Following the guided experience, guests are free to relax, enjoy the surrounding countryside views and purchase a coffee or soft drink from the small on-site shop.
