Aurora is the only 4* Guest House situated in the West End. Guests can feel relaxed knowing we have completed Covid risk assessments, social distancing guidelines and the highest level of cleanliness. Hand sanitisers available for all guests and contactless thermometer. During these difficult times, we ask people to book direct as, should you need to cancel due to Covid, it means you can contact us directly. We are still trying to offer that homely feel to our beautifully modernised and upgraded Guest House, keeping as many original features as possible. All rooms are en-suite and there is a lovely guest lounge & garden with table & chairs to sit outside. Whether you are coming for work or leisure we look forward to having you stay.
We are still offering our wonderful breakfast which is cooked fresh to order by Dave having previously worked as a head chef. We use Scottish produce whenever possible for which we have been awarded the "Taste Our Best" accreditation. No self service is permitted at this time, we will bring everything to your table at a prearranged time to ensure social distancing. A takeaway can be arranged for breakfast if preferred with fruit, sandwich, yogurt etc. Our guests rate the breakfasts as 5* and say it is hard to get a better breakfast anywhere else. You won’t want to turn down our choice of a full cooked breakfast, omelettes, poached eggs, fruit salads, salmon, as well as healthy options and with all marmalade & jams being homemade, what more could you ask for. Most dietary needs can be catered for.
Our homemade treats will also still be available but again no self-service is permitted.
Free excellent Wi-fi and some rooms with Smart TV’s or HDMI connections for you to connect your own devices.
Public transport is on the doorstep to the city centre, just over 1 mile to Union Street or in the opposite direction to Royal Deeside and the many castles. Any queries at all, please do not hesitate to drop us an email.

This is a small single en-suite bedroom with 3/4 size bed situated on the ground floor. Ideal for allergies as it has wooden flooring and all bedding is non-allergenic or restricted ability as there is just 2 steps from the guest lounge to the dining room and just 1 step in the room for the shower.

This is a single en-suite room with a double bed. This is situated on the top floor with a carpeted floor 2 Velux windows and a torpedo shaped seating area with a small arch window. Bedding all non-allergenic.

This is a Deluxe twin/super- king-size en-suite family room on the ground floor. Newly refurbished with new beds & curtains. Ideal for people with restricted ability as there is just 2 steps from the guest lounge to the dining room. Also suitable for guests with allergies as it has a wooden floor and all bedding is non-allergenic.
Suitable for a couple or 2 people sharing preferring a larger room, but also suitable for a family with a sofa bed for additional use. Travel cot available.

This is a Deluxe family en-suite room on the top floor with a king size and a single bed. Carpeted room. Ideal for couples wanting a larger room but also ideal for a family with a dividing curtain between the single bed area and the king-size bed. Bedding all non-allergenic.
