About Stonehaven Paddleboarding
Based at Stonehaven Harbour, Stonehaven Paddleboarding offers a range of tours to allow your clients to experience the stunning coastline and wildlife of North-east Scotland and the majesty of Royal Deeside from the River Dee.
Our tours are suitable for clients who are competent paddlers, however we also provide beginner level lessons in Stonehaven Harbour, which is an ideal, safe space for your clients to learn the basics.
Tours can be combined with beginner lessons, so your clients can practice their technique! All tours and lessons are inclusive of top of the range equipment, including boards, paddles, wetsuits, boots and buoyancy aids

- Available to hire for a 45 minutes session for 1-6 pax,
- Changing facilities, cold freshwater shower and public toilets available nearby
- Suitable for age 12+ only
- Can be combined with any of our lessons or tours
Equipment rental

- Guided stand up paddle board tour of the coastline between Stonehaven and Dunnottar Castle
- The tour will take in cliffs, caves, coves, waterfalls and provide your clients the opportunity to paddle below Dunnottar Castle

For clients who are new to paddleboarding, we offer beginner lessons and family friendly fun sessions.
Beginner lessons:
2 hr duration // 2 - 8 participants
Family friendly sessions:
1 hr duration // 4 - 8 participants // Children unable to paddle their own board FOC

- The tour will be tailored to river conditions and ability of the participants - tours range from a gentle paddle to negotiating fast flowing rapids

- Guided stand up paddle board safari from Stonehaven to Fowlsheugh Nature Reserve, where your clients can see over 130,000 seabirds
- Wildlife spotting opportunities include seabirds such as puffins, guillemots and razorbills and marine life such as seals and dolphins
- Coaching on technique throughout
- Transport back to Stonehaven Harbour from Fowlsheugh Nature Reserve in a high speed boat
