About Peterhead Prison Museum
Peterhead Prison Museum is a 5* VisitScotland visitor attraction situated on the north-east coast around 45 minutes from Aberdeen City Centre.
The museum is an immersive experience where your clients will walk through 125 years of history of ‘Scotland’s Toughest Jail’. The prison opened in 1888 and closed in 2013, and the experience tells the story from the perspective of the guards who worked there.
