About NTS - Crathes Castle
Located 18 miles from Aberdeen City, Crathes Castle is a 16th-century baronial castle set in an impressive 595-acre estate. Fairy tale-like turrets, gargoyles of fantastic design and the ancient Horn of Leys given in 1323 by Robert the Bruce are just a few of the features of this historic castle.
On site, your clients can immerse themselves in our cultural history at the castle, with fine antique furniture and painted ceilings, enjoy the walled garden on explore the estate, which offers six separate walking trails and the chance to spot wildlife such as squirrels, herons and kingfishers.
