About NTS - Craigievar Castle
Built over the course of 50 years from 1576 – c1626, Craigievar Castle is a beautiful pink baronial castle which is said to be the inspiration for Walt Disney’s Cinderella Castle.
Craigievar was a family home until the 1960s, creating a quirky blend of rare antiquities and cosy interiors. Your clients will experience an authentic Scottish castle, as Craigievar has no artificial light beyond the first floor. In addition to the castle, your clients can enjoy the gardens and woodland trails, with opportunities to spot our native wildlife, including the elusive pine martin.
