About Hillgoers
Hillgoers is a family-owned outdoor experience provider, established in 2016, specialising in all level guided walks throughout Scotland with help from our excellent team of highly qualified guides. Based in Royal Deeside, we are perfectly placed for the Cairngorms National Park and just a 45 minute drive from Aberdeen International Airport.
Suitable for FIT and small groups, experiences can last from 4 hours to multi-day, from mountains to sea.

Your clients will be given priority and VIP access to Balmoral Castle and be expertly guided on a 4-7km walk through the beautiful Caledonian Pine Forest to discover the Royal Cairns and find out the story behind them.
The guided walk begins in the Castle grounds, where you will also visit the Castle*, cafe and shop, taking advantage of the self-guided audio tour. The Royal Cairns, a collection of historical monuments erected by the Royal Family to commemorate significant events, are a true hidden treasure in Aberdeenshire. During the walk, guests have the opportunity to try local Lochnagar cheese.
*Castle closed to public when Royal Family in residence.

Embark on a nighttime, stargazing adventure in the dark skies of the Cairngorms National Park. This area has vast areas of low light pollution and amazing vantage points.
Hillgoers can help create an unforgettable experience in the Cairngorms, perhaps your clients will be lucky enough to see the Aurora Borealis! Please note, if the weather forecast is not clear the event will still go ahead, the dark skies presentation requires no stars.
These events are tailor made to your clients requirements, they have the option to stay inside the vehicle or take a walk into the night, perhaps up a hill to give a greater vantage point and chance of seeing the aurora.
