About Grampian Transport Museum
Located in the vibrant village of Alford, just 45 minutes from Aberdeen, Grampian Transport Museum boasts an impressive range of transport exhibits, from travelling chariots of the 1800s, to some of the fastest cars ever made.
Suitable for FIT, groups, school groups and special interest groups, the museum offers a range of interactive exhibits, as well as the opportunity to be driven in some of our vehicles on our very own track.

We will open 7 days per week for private groups by prior arrangement

ONSITE
We have a range of exhibitions and we refresh around one-third of our exhibits every season. Examples include:
- 'Made in Scotland' - the history of Scottish built vehicles
- ‘The Guy Martin Collection’ - the only place in the UK Guy Martin's collection is on display!
- ‘King’s Cars’: Royal vehicles, including the first ever Royal car
- Extensive collection of motorcycles
- Steam Engines

Suitable for family groups of max 7 pax, this experience offers children ages 4 - 8 years old the opportunity to attend a mini driving school and get their first ‘driver’s licence’
The session lasts 15 minutes and is weather dependent. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
