Based in Braemar, in the Cairngorms National Park, Braemar Highland Experience is a 5* tour provider. Your clients will have the opportunity to discover the wider story of whisky in Scotland, through bespoke tours, tutored tastings, guided walks.
They are qualified mountain leaders and offer guided walks at low and high level.
Their experiences are suitable for both FIT and groups.
Product Offerings
We have exclusive access to guide Balmoral Castle and Crathie Kirk as private guides, and offer a range of bespoke experiences to enhance your clients’ time with us. These include, but are not limited to -
- Short walks to scenic spots around Braemar
- Stops at gin or whisky distilleries
- Visits to Braemar or Balmoral Castle
- Talk on the fascinating geology at the Muir of Dinnet Nature reserve
- Tours focused on whisky including tastings, the story of whisky, how it was produced in the past and how it is produced today
- Tours that venture further afield - Loch Ness, Culloden, Pitlochry or Aberfeldy

Example tour:
We offer a wide variety of guided walking, at low and high level, from a couple of hours to several days in the Cairngorms and further afield. Let us introduce your clients to wild places with spectacular scenery, guide them up some of our mountains or walk them through the history of the area and its flora and fauna.
We can also offer family walks, looking at the nature and history of the area, or a treasure hunt for children aged between 5-12 years old.

Inclusions
- Tutored tasting of four different whiskies, using a carefully chosen range of single malts and single cask bottlings
- Tastings can take place at the Braemar Highland Games Centre (and include a personal tour), or at a location of your clients’ choosing
- For guests of the Fife Arms, Braemar, tastings can take place at the hotel using whiskies selected from Bertie’s Whisky Bar
