About Braemar Castle

Situated near the village of Braemar in Royal Deeside, your clients will experience the turbulent history of this almost 400-year-old castle from its construction by the 2nd Earl of Mar in 1628, its involvement in the Jacobite Uprisings through to the present day.

Offering both self-guided and guided tour options, the castle offers experiences suitable for both group and FIT clients.

EXPLORE BRAEMAR

Visiting the Royal Deeside by car? Why not make use of Braemar Castle's car park for easy access to the popular village of Braemar. Enjoy a stroll around the castle grounds before sampling some local Scottish food in the delightful eateries just a short walk away (approx 15 minutes). Parking costs £3 per car for the day.
