Bothies and Bannocks
About Bothies and Bannocks
Bothies & Bannocks offers chauffeur-driven food and drink tours in the Deeside area of Aberdeenshire. The name ‘Bothies & Bannocks’ reflects the heritage of our roots in the North East of Scotland, where a ‘bothy’ refers to a farm or estate outbuilding, which are now commonly used by hill walkers as shelter from the elements. Every region in Scotland has their own version of a ‘bannock’ and in Aberdeenshire it is hearty pancake, usually served with butter and jam.
We provide a range of tours which allow your clients to experience the best food and drink Aberdeenshire has to offer, meet the people behind the produce and immerse themselves in our local culture. Bespoke tours are available on request
