About Glen Dye

Situated on a private estate of around 15,000 acres and just south of Banchory in Royal Deeside, Glen Dye offers 11 unique and varied self-catering rental properties accommodating up to 64 pax.

For clients residing onsite, Glen Dye offers a range of wild wellness and bushcraft experiences led by experienced and qualified instructors.

Experiences are suitable for small groups and FIT clients, and larger groups of up to 30 can be accommodated on request.

All experiences are available from March to end October. Experiences may be booked in winter on request.

Product Offering

Axes and Fire	Duration: 1.5 hour Group Size: 6-12 min/max. Experience includes: Discover the different types of axes and how to throw them Fire lighting skills using natural materials Hot drinks provided
Bushcraft Experience	Duration: 3 hours Group Size: 6-12 min/max. Experience includes: Learn how to use axes, knives, and saws Craft a mallet to take home Learn how to create a fire without matches or lighters
Fire and Water	Duration: 3 hours Group Size: 6-12 min/max. Experience includes: 20-minute guided walk to a secret location Learn about fire and breath work Wild swim – hot drinks provided
Forage and Swim	Duration: 3 hours Group Size: 6-12 min/max. Experience includes: Guided foraging walk. Clients take home ingredients and instructions on how to use them Breath work around a campfire Guided wild swim followed by a sauna
Wild Whittling	Duration: 3 hours Group Size: 6-12 min/max. Experience includes: Learn to hand-craft items using freshly cut greenwood, such as tent pegs, coat hooks, spatulas, and other useful items to take home Campfire will be lit and hot drinks provided
Terms & Conditions	Payment terms on request. 4-week cancellation policy. Final numbers 4 weeks in advance. Advise of heart conditions/allergies. Accessibility accommodated; footwear/clothing suitable for all weathers.
