About Aberdeen Maritime Museum
At Aberdeen Maritime Museum, your clients can discover the story of the city’s long and often dramatic relationship with the sea through fascinating objects and artworks associated with shipbuilding, fishing, whaling, trading, and offshore energy. Highlights include models of Aberdeen-built ships, from clippers to one of the first modern warships in the Japanese navy. Clients can also explore the 9-metre scale model of the Murchison oil production platform—providing a rare close-up view of an offshore oil rig.
The museum’s rich and varied collections are displayed over four floors in the modern museum building and the historic 16th-century Provost Ross’s House. Visitors can also enjoy fantastic views over Aberdeen Harbour.
