10 Dollar Shake is a food and drink experience provider based in Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire, in the North-East of Scotland.

We can provide a range of experiences for your clients, allowing them to enjoy an authentic taste of Scotland and the local region. The experiences can take place at our city-centre bar and restaurant, The Tippling House; a converted barn in Strathdon in the heart of the Cairngorms, The Steading Bar; or at venues across the region.

Introduction to Scotch Whisky

Availability: Tuesday to Friday year-round (advance booking required, minimum 72 hours’ notice)

• Three courses featuring premium Scottish produce such as shellfish, North Sea-caught white fish, smoked salmon, Scotch beef, seasonal game, and berries
• Served at The Tippling House, winner of the 2019 Aberdeen City & Shire Tourism “Best Bar” award (*2022 & 2023 finalists) and TripAdvisor “Travellers’ Choice” 2022
• Pairing options:
• Pair a 25ml dram of Scotch whisky with each course
• Pair a 25ml dram of Scotch whisky aged between 13 and 18 years with each course
• Pair a 25ml measure of Scottish gin with mixer (tonic, ginger ale, etc.) with each course

Terms & Conditions

• FIT: free cancellation up to 48 hours in advance
• Groups (6+): free cancellation up to 14 days in advance. 50% of invoice payable within 14 days
• Payment terms available on request
• Tasting experiences are available six days a week, Monday to Saturday
• Sundays may be available for groups of 15 or more
• Excluded dates: 24, 25, 26 and 31 December, and 1 and 2 January
• There is no disabled access to the Tippling House for off-site experiences. Please advise if you require an accessible venue at the time of enquiry
